Whollytone carbon recovery project adopted an advanced alkanolamine absorption method for carbon dioxide capturing. The amine reacts with carbon dioxide forming ammonium bicarbonate. Part of the recovered carbon dioxide converts to food grade quality which produced into dry ice products. There are four technical stages including carbon dioxide capturing, ammonium bicarbonate formation, carbon dioxide liquefying and dry ice production stages.
